Rub Elbows with Roofing's Best
One of the great things about running a business is how the competition fuels innovation. Without competitors constantly nipping at your heels, progress unfolds slowly, if at all. While there are always true market leaders that set the standards in any certain field, our capitalistic spirit makes these leaders and innovators fair game for anyone who thinks they can build a better mousetrap. Industry trade shows and association events are a chance to meet competitors, strategic partners, and suppliers in congenial and constructive settings, moving the industry forward and affirming the idea that a rising tide floats all ships!
The roofing industry is big. Based on 2018 data, in the U.S. the roofing industry generated over $56 billion in wages and salaries alone. To drive such a gargantuan industry involves contributions from manufacturers of roofing materials, technology companies, distributors, retailers, and transportation networks, architects, builders and roofing contractors, tool and equipment manufacturers, insurance representatives, financing companies, real estate developers, and property owners.
Order and organization are also needed to progress. The roofing industry is fortunate to enjoy a strong network of regional roofing contractor associations. At the top of the heap, there’s the longstanding NRCA – the National Roofing Contractors Association. Here, we’ll take a glance at all the major roofing events in the U.S. and Canada in 2021 and 2022. While we’re at, we will see what’s happening down under, too – in Australia, where the iRoofing app is getting very popular.
